Why Choose Holistic Nutrition?
With so many nutrition guidelines out there, it can be confusing to figure out which type of nutrition is going to work for you. When I first got in to nutrition, I had no idea what the difference was between Holistic Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition or Dietetics was. After doing a ton of research before I decided which nutrition certifications I wanted to pursue, I discovered that I was really drawn to Holistic Nutrition. In my practice as a nutritionist in San Diego, I currently combine Holistic and Clinical Nutrition for my clients- however, I place a huge emphasis on Holistic Nutrition. So, you might be wondering…what are the differences between traditional nutrition and Holistic Nutrition?

An Inside Look At My Everyday Eats
I get a ton of questions about what I eat on a daily basis. My friends and clients want to know how I stay healthy even with a busy schedule. So, I thought I would share with you all here. Q: What is a typical breakfast for you? A: Most days I like to start my day with a protein smoothie, and I like to add a lot of greens to it (mmm kale!). I always feel better when I start my day with some protein- it keeps me full and helps to prevent sugar cravings throughout the day.

MIA- Nourished Balance Updates
This past month has been amazing! I have been meeting with a ton of new private clients in my San Diego office. We have been working on nutrition coaching for weight loss, thyroid conditions, hormone balancing, improving digestion, and so much more. I have also been doing some corporate wellness nutrition coaching at a company in Sorrento Valley. I feel blessed to have been working with these clients and am enjoying every minute of it.
